Instead of an aluminum or stainless steel pizza pan, bake your fresh pizza dough directly on our nonstick pizza pan, Titanium Baking Sheet. This is such a versatile piece. Biscuits, cookies, pizza, bbq ribs and broiled asparagus. You name it, it's easy to use and clean. This pizza recipe is gluten-free, but you can do regular pizza dough and bake it the same way. Any dough recipe will do. And any list of yummy toppings as well. Here's how I did this one...
Ingredients for the Gluten-Free Crust:
I decided upon these toppings: Organic sausage, cheese, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, red peppers, garlic. Pick up some tomato sauce and tomato paste to spread on the cooked dough too. To make the crust, preheat the oven to 375F. Whisk together eggs and coconut milk in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut flour, garlic and onion powder, italian seasoning, baking soda, and salt. Mix coconut flour mixture into egg mixture. Combine well, then, with a spatula, spread the dough 1/2 inch thin onto your Titanium Baking Sheet, to form a rectangular shape. Next, bake this "dough" in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.
Meanwhile, cook your sausage (if you're using meat), add mushrooms, and at the very end, at the spinach to wilt it into the mixture.
Now that your dough is golden, spread your favorite pizza sauce onto it, or just use a combo of tomato sauce and tomato paste which is what I did here. Layer the goodies next. Sausage, cheese, tomatoes as you wish. Bake an additional 12-15 minutes to melt cheese and warm the toppings. After this came out, I was able to slide it right off onto a serving platter for slicing and serving. Nothing will be stuck to the surface.
Enjoy a gluten-free pizza, or regular flour dough pizza baked on your nonstick pizza pan. No need to fuss with a stainless steel pizza pan.
