Linguine with Clam Sauce

November 14th, 2016 03:22:00 pm

This just takes minutes to prepare and serve. Quickly you'll be dipping bread into the clam sauce and savoring the garlic and clam goodness. Linguine with Clam Sauce is a favorite that you can throw together fast. Gather the following:

  • Olive oilcanned_clams
  • Butter
  • Fresh Chopped Garlic (it's worth it, chop your own)
  • Fresh Parsley (italian big leaf is the best)
  • Fresh Basil
  • Seasonings: Salt and Pepper and Red Pepper flakes
  • Linguine or Gluten-Free Rice Cappelini
  • 6.5 oz Can of Chopped Clams

Dice your garlic and parsley, not super fine, just like so. By all means, use the fresh stuff, it greatly improves the flavor and makes it pop.

Put Olive oil and Butter into your Titanium Frying Pan and set this on medium to medium-high heat. You can see the pan here. I am using the 28cm or 11 inch Frying Pan. Once the oil is heated, add the garlic and parsley and gently saute it. Add red pepper flakes and salt and pepper at this point if you wish. When the garlic releases a lovely fragrance, but just before it browns, add the can of clams, sauce included. Simmer this on low heat.

Boil your pasta... or alternate pasta. Even Shirataki noodles work great with this dish. I am using the Titanium Soup pot that is 8" in diameter because I'm just making a serving for 2. You can see this soup pot here.

Serve by putting your drained pasta into the bowl and topping with this super easy sauce and garnishing with fragrant basil. We tear bits of basil into our pasta as we eat, or you can chop it and sprinkle it on top when you serve it. Of course a serving of bread for sopping the sauce is a must because you will want to savor every last bit.  Let us know if you loved the Linguine with Clam Sauce as much as we do.
